Anyone can buy a nice ring. What's harder and what she'll remember is a gift that proves you actually see her.
That's the difference a meaningful ring makes. Instead of choosing by what looks pretty, you choose by what she's living through, what she's overcome, or who she's becoming. It turns a piece of jewellery into a small, wearable message: I noticed. I understand. I'm proud of you. This is a short guide to choosing one that says exactly the right thing.
Choose by the message, not the metal
At Dada, every ring is designed around an emotion rather than a trend, so the easiest way to pick is to think about what you want the gift to say to her.
Is she someone who's come through something hard and come out stronger? Someone learning to trust herself again? Someone who's never quite seen how much she's worth? Each of our three rings is built for one of those stories, so you're not guessing, you're matching.
For the woman who's been through it - Thorne
If she's survived a betrayal, a loss, or a season that tested her and she's still standing, Thorne is for her.
Each thorn in its design marks a scar, but it's shaped like a crown, worn high rather than hidden. It's a way of saying: what you went through didn't break you, it made you. A powerful gift for a close friend, a sister, or anyone who's quietly carried more than people realise.
For the woman learning to trust herself - Luci
Luci is a talisman for intuition and protection. It draws on an old symbol, the headless serpent, a warning that treachery is near and it's worn as a reminder to listen to that inner voice and protect your peace.
Give it to someone who's learning that guarding herself isn't cold, it's wisdom or to anyone stepping into a new chapter who could use a quiet guardian on her hand.
For the woman who underestimates herself - Parva
Parva celebrates the beauty that's already there. Its flowing, open forms stand for the things that truly define a persons kindness, resilience, courage and the idea that real beauty was never about being perfect.
It's the ring for the woman who lifts everyone else up and forgets to see herself. A gentle, daily reminder to embrace exactly who she is.

How to get her ring size right, without spoiling the surprise
Our rings come in fixed sizes, so here's how to land the right one without giving the game away:
- Borrow a ring she already wears. Take one from her jewellery box (ideally one she wears on the same finger you're buying for) and either measure the inside diameter in millimetres or trace the inner circle on paper. A jeweller, or our size guide can convert that to a size.
- Note the finger. Women often wear different sizes on different fingers, so pay attention to where she'd actually wear it.
- Press it into something soft. If you can't take the ring away, press it into a bar of soap or some putty to capture the size, then measure that.
- Ask someone who'd know. A best friend, sister or mum can often find out her size far more casually than you can.
And if it's not quite right when it arrives we offer free size exchanges within 30 days.
Why these make an easy gift to say yes to
A meaningful ring sounds like a grand gesture, but ours are designed to be livable. Every piece is waterproof and tarnish-free 18k gold-plated, so she can wear it in the shower, at the gym and through everyday life without it fading. And at £28, you get a gift that feels significant without the solid-gold price tag, because we believe meaning shouldn't be a luxury.
It's a gift that looks like you spent a fortune of thought, which is the only currency that really counts.
