Dada was founded by Ravi, a designer inspired by the love and legacy of his grandfather, the man who helped raise him and gifted him his first pieces of jewellery. In South Asian culture, a grandfather (or "Dada") is a figure of protection, empowerment, and unconditional love. Ravi created Dada to honour that connection and bring meaning back to jewellery, designing each piece to tell a story and help others navigate their own emotional journeys. Built on values of family, love, legacy, and self-expression, Dada pieces are more than jewellery, they’re modern designs filled with sentiment.

Early on, Devina joined Ravi as a co-founder, bringing the brand’s vision to life through storytelling, community, and creative direction. As the face of Dada, she shares the emotional messages behind each collection and creates space for women to feel seen, heard, and empowered. Together, Ravi and Devina built Dada as a celebration of real emotions, joy, heartbreak, resilience, & growth, captured in jewellery that connects deeply with its wearers. From sketch to story, Dada is a labour of love shaped by two voices and one purpose: to help people express who they truly are.
